Hello everyone,

“Housewife Surrealist”, Bridget’s show from the 2011 Edinburgh Fringe, is running at London’s Soho Theatre this week, from tomorrow (Tuesday 24th) until Saturday (28th).

It’s on at 9.15pm and it would be great to see as many of you there that can make it!

Latest News - 28th March 2012

Bridget will be appearing on Radio 4’s News Quiz again on 10th May, but before that, you can catch her on The Broadcasting House Programme - her next appearance date has changed to this Sunday, 1st April.

She’s also just filmed some BBC online sketches for Will Andrews.

The Flappers

Bridget’s long-awaited and long-in-development sitcom The Flappers will have a lovely live airing on 16th November at The Pleasance, London at 8pm. 

This will be a very loose, fun, un-rehearsed 15 minute read through. 

It’ll be recorded for a podcast so don’t worry if you can’t get along, you’ll be able to listen to it when it’s up. Check my website for details/link. 

The cast is exceptional and includes Peter Serafinowicz, Helen Keen, Dave McNeill, Sue Perkins, Anna Crilly, Helen Minsky, Colin Hoult and Bridget in a cameo as a coughing woman. It is part of an evening hosted by Danielle Ward and Martin White, called Danielle Ward and Martin White’s Fun Haus, The Pleasance, 8pm.

Bridget’s Edinburgh show, “Housewife Surrealist” will be back!

Firstly at the Brighton Festival on October 13th (info here).
There will hopefully be further dates coming up.

Also, Bridget is currently filming Harry Hill’s “Little Crackers” for Sky, in which she plays an air hostess.

The broadcast date is TBC, and in the meantime she will be filming for Cardinal Burns’ new E4 series.

Bridget will also be doing a one-off performance of a very exciting play called White Rabbit, Red Rabbit on 11th August.

And in other news, the completely hilarious and properly original Cardinal Burns got a series so Bridget will be popping up in that either briefly or a bit more than briefly - as yet to be decided. 
No broadcast date yet.  Filming in October.  Hooray.

More Extra Edinburgh Appearances…

Bridget has confirmed more guest appearances during the Edinburgh Festival, details as follows…

12th August.  Arthur Smith’s Pissed Up Chat Show.  The Pleasance Dome, 9.40pm.
16th August.  Marcel Lucont’s Chat Show. The Underbelly (Belly Laugh), 9.20pm.

I will also be appearing as an antiques expert in a film clip in brilliant weirdos The Behemoth’s show. Pleasance Courtyard, 4.45pm.

The Alternative Comedy Memorial Society are also doing a late show 17th August 12pm at The Pleasance I think. Details TBA.

I will be appearing in the wonderful Isy Suttie’s little BBC film - I’ll post it up when filmed.  Jo Neary’s in it as well, very exciting.

EXTRA EDINBURGH DATES

As well as Bridget’s solo show, Housewife Surrealist, she will be performing at the following extra gigs.

11th August: Andy Zaltzman’s Political Animal, The Stand
14th August: Tom Allen’s Afternoon Tea, Gilded Balloon. 3.15pm

And Bridget has been commissioned to write and perform a short story for BBC Radio 4’s Afternoon Readings slot as part of their Comic Fringes series. 

It will be recorded on the afternoon of 20th August (venue details to follow), between 1 and 4pm and will be broadcast the following week.
